The climate crisis has reached a critical point and we currently have less than 10 years to halt global warming or face the consequences of catastrophic climate change.

Climate scientists are now telling us that we must dramatically reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the air by the middle of the next decade. They say that we must get levels below 350 ppm (which is what levels were in the 1970's) and probably down to 300-320ppm eventually. Currently atmospheric carbon dioxide is above 380 ppm and rising by about 2 ppm per year.

This means we must reduce carbon emissions to zero globaly and use methods to remove carbon dioxide from the air. ALL WITHIN THE NEXT 5-10 YEARS!

Go here for a summary of the climate and oil crises and find out what the real solution is.

Go to the Resources/Action page for some fantastic resources and ways that you can make a difference.

Or if you only have time to do one thing, watch or read former Vice President Al Gore's challenge to repower America (July 2008). It clearly outlines the problem and the solution and is even more relevant to Australia. The full speech can be found here.

The Animations

The first of these animations is 'Climate of Fear'.

Climate of Fear

A three minute animation highlighting the seriousness of the climate crisis. August 2008.

My Daughter on Election Day

my daughter on election day

A movie I produced prior to the last Australian Federal Election. Sadly the predictions have become much worse since November 2007 and it should now read 'Before she turns 8' not '30'.
