Human civilisation has reached a critical point in its history:

The problem is simple: There are too many people, using too much stuff in very unsustainable ways.
The solution is complex and requires us to transform our society into a completely sustainable one.

This means changing the way we use energy (shifting from fossil fuels to clean energy sources like solar, wind and geothermal), the way we consume resources and tackling the ultimate cause of the problem - namely overpopulation. The solution will requires amomental change in societal, political and business thinking.
