A brief profile of Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes has been working as a graphic designer since he qualified from the Swinburne School of Design in 1990. Initially, he worked for a major Melbourne based graphic design firm before establishing D MAX.

In addition to his design and typography abilities he has considerable production, photomanipulation and illustration and 3D animation skills.

Originally qualifying as a medical practitioner in 1983, he worked as a general practitioner for several years while building up D MAX's client base. The diagnostic, scientific nature of medicine helps with the problem solving aspects associated with many challenging design projects.
